INTERNATIONAL FEDERATION OF FREIGHT FORWARDERS ASSOCIATIONS (FIATA) 國際貨運代理協會聯合會 Updated 21 Jul 2026 · Regulatory Update: European Commission Publishes Revised ICS2 Stop-Words List Applicable from 3 August 2026
The European Commission has published an
updated version of the Import Control System 2 (ICS2) Stop-Words list in the
CIRCABC library. These terms are deemed to indicate insufficient data quality
during the Entry Summary Declarations (ENS) and may lead to automatic filing
rejections. The revised list will enter into force on 3
August 2026 and should be used by economic operators when preparing ENS. Freight forwarders are encouraged to review
the updated list and ensure that their systems and internal processes are
aligned before the new version becomes applicable. The updated Stop-Words list can be downloaded
