·       Belt and Road Portal http://beltandroad.hk

In December 2015, HKTDC launched the Belt and Road Portal (http://beltandroad.hk), the world’s first-of-its-kind digital information hub that serves as a business facilitation and market intelligence platform for global businesses to seize opportunities arising from the Belt and Road Initiative. The portal has 2 objectives:

Ø     To provide information to help the industry make informed decisions. The site provides country profiles of the 65 Belt and Road countries, official policy documents and investment project sources, plus news, analyses and insights.

Ø     To provide contacts. The industry can search from Hong Kong-based service providers to find professional services relevant to the Belt and Road, like financial, legal, accounting and infrastructure development.

The Portal offers a whole range of analyses, webcast videos (featuring views of business leaders on the Belt and Road opportunities), country profiles, and even face-to-face consultation services to interested parties. HKTDC will expand the database to cover other sectors, such as logistics, maritime and ICT and welcome more service providers from all over the world to participate in this huge undertaking.
